The cats are growing..they need more space..I bought another cage at RM430. It is 5 ft high and same size with the one that we already have. 1 cage for Jerry, Harry and Kiki and the other one is for Mimi, Nina, Jimmy and Nelly. I bought the cage on 2 nd week of Ramadhan. Hoping that the cats will be more comfortable..

Oleh kerana kami akan pulang ke kampung selama seminggu, kucing2 kesayangan kami terpaksa diletakkan di bawah jagaan Jingles Pet Shop. Raya tahun lepas, Mimi & Nina juga ditinggalkan di tempat yang sama. While Harry dan Kiki kami bawa pulang ke kampung. dari pengalaman lepas, kami rasa agak leceh untuk bawa balik kucing ke kampung during Hari Raya, so we decided to send them all for boarding.

Saya balik rumah during lunch time, dan hantar 7 ekor kucing ke Pet Shop. Oleh kerana saya hanya ada 2 carrier, Mimi, Nina dan Jimmy diletakkan dalam satu carrier, Kiki, Jerry dan Nelly dalam satu carrier dan Harry di pegang oleh Adik kerana saiz Harry yang akan besar akan menyesakkan carrier.

Tiba di Pet Shop, tempat letak kereta penuh dan hanya ada satu petak yang kosong dan agak sempit. Saya cuba juga park Estima di petak tersebut. Settle parking, took out the 2 carrier, and try to lock the door. Unfortunately, one of the carrier sangkut pada sliding door Estima, dan tertolak carrier satu lagi. Tiba2 saya baru perasan pintu carrier terbuka. Dengan berdebar2 saya cepat2 tutup pintu carrier, then baru sedar, hanya ada Mimi dan Nina..Jimmy telah lari keluar. Saya minta Adik masuk Petshop untuk minta bantuan. Kami nampak Jimmy di bawah salah sebuah kereta dan cuba untuk ambil Jimmy tetapi Jimmy lari dengan pantas ke bawah kereta yang lain. That was the last time kami nampak Jimmy.

Walaupun kami cuba untuk mengesan Jimmy, tetapi cubaan kami gagal. Beberapa orang yang ada ditempat tersebut juga cuba bantu kami, tapi tiada hasil yang menggembirakan.

Settle urusan boarding 6 ekor kucing kami, saya pun ke pejabat semula dengan hati yang berbuku dan sedih..Dalam hati tidak putus2 berdoa supaya kami jumpa semula Jimmy..rasa kesal dalam hati kerana kecuaian saya menyebabkan Jimmy lesap entah kemana..

Carrier yang menempatkan Nina, Mimi dan Jimmy memang sudah rosak sedikit, but I never expect Jimmy will get himself escaped that fast. Even tho Mimi and Nina have the chance to run away, but they choose not to because they already know the risk.

Hari ini sudah masuk hari ke 6 Syawal. Kami sudah pun kembali semula ke Shah Alam walaupun hari mula bekerja kami adalah pada 28 September. Tujuan kami pulang awal adalah untuk membolehkan Abang mempersiapkan diri mental dan fizikal bagi menghadapi peperiksaan PMR yang dijadualkan bermula pada 7 Oktober. Seperti dijangka, dengan keadaan kurang rehat dan kurang tidor dikampung, Abang mendapat asthma pada awal pagi tadi. Mudah-mudahan Allah swt memberikan kesihatan yang baik kepada Abang.

Tahun ini kami menyambut 1 Syawal di rumah mak Batu Pahat. Kami mula bercuti pada 18September supaya kami dapat bantu mak persiapan Hari Raya. Bertolak pada jam 12 malam 17September dan tiba di Batu Pahat jam 3.30 pagi. Kami hanya berhenti di R&R Pagoh untuk ke tandas dan refreshment.

Sambutan Aidil Fitri tahun ini agak hambar. Tak tahu kenapa. Kami solat Aidil Fitri di masjid kampung Linau. Selepas Solat Aidil Fitri kami hanya rehat2 sehingga selepas waktu Asar baru lah kami berkunjung ke beberapa buah rumah mak saudara/bapa saudara sebelah Ayah. Kunjungan bersambung semula selepas maghrib. Kami langsung tidak bergambar untuk Hari Raya ini.

2 syawal juga di habiskan dengan rehat2 dan tidur sahaja. Kami bertolak ke Melaka pada jam 5 petang dan tiba di Melaka pada hampir jam 7 petang.

3 Syawal - kami berkunjung kerumah mak tiri Atok dan mak saudara sebelah Awe. Selain dari itu, kami hanya rehat2 dirumah.

4 Syawal - Saya menerima kunjungan kawan2 lama sekolah iaitu Ilah & Lynn..dan sebelah petang saya dan Eda(Adik) kerumah cousin kami di Bukit Lintang.

Tahun ini kami tidak dapat satu masa di mana kesemua berkumpul serentak untuk membolehkan kami merancang satu aktiviti bersama. Mudah2an pada masa akan datang, kami dapat merancang aktiviti keluarga.

5 Syawal - sebelah pagi kami ke Celcom untuk menukarkan sim card handphone mak, dan spend masa di Dataran Pahlawan. Sempat lah kami membeli belah beberapa barang keperluan di Padini Shop dan Polo House.

Kami bertolak pulang ke Shah Alam pada jam 3 petang dan tiba di Shah Alam pada jam 4.30 ptg. Selepas mengeluarkan barang2 dari dalam kereta, kami menjemput kucing2 kami yang di tinggalkan di Pet Shop Jingles selama 7 hari..Rindunya pada mereka..

Harry always wanted to get close with Kiki, but Kiki sometimes being so fierce and sometimes being so nice to Harry..hmmmm..

24 hours in Melaka

I have promised my mum that I will go back after Adik finished her UPSR exam. We went back on 11th September, 11 pm. Arrived at my parents' house around 1 am. Mak opened the door and sembang2. I passed to her a Muslimah tshirt that I bought for her and kain sembahyang.

Mak not satisfied with the sliding door curtain. Even tho I feel sleepy and tired, but to satisfy her, I helped her to adjust the curtain. Went to sleep at 2.15 am. Woke up at 4.30 am, but I just cannot get my head up. I took a bath, perform solat tahajud and took my sahur. After solat subuh, recite AlQuran and later took a cushion and zzzzzz.

As promised, me and hubby took Mak and Abah for some shopping spree..actually, Mak wanted me to buy her a new book cabinet..so, we went to survey a few furniture shop. Instead of looking for a cabinet, she 'berkenan' on something else. She really wants the day bed at a teak shop. hmmm..that is not included in my budget..we left the shop lot without buying anything.

We then proceed to Amal Clinic. Took Abah to see the Dr. He always got stomach ache and refused to go clinic. But somehow, when I decided to take him to see a Dr, he never declined.
The Dr advised him to take the medicine regularly and to skip fasting if he feels not well. He also advised me to bring Abah to see the Neurologist again for some advise. He might get the gastric problem due to the medications he took since he got his stroke in year 2006. Also bought some vitamins for Mak.

Mak wanted to go to the furniture shop nearby the clinic. We found what we want there. Once decided on the cabinet, she told me that she wants to replace her dining chair. Finally I end up paying for her book cabinet and her 8 seater dining table.

From the furniture shop, we went to Serkam to buy some dodol. The speciality of the dodol here is it was home made and was packed individually in plastic wrapper. Its easier for us to serve the guest. Also bought some for Mak and my mother in law.

We then passed by Padang Temu to buy some fish. Reach home at 2.45pm.

After solat and a short nap, I went out again with my sister. She wanted to pay the utilities bills and go to Bazar Ramadhan at Peringgit. This is my first time visiting a bazaar Ramadhan this year. Nothing interest me actually. But we bought murtabak, roti bom, ikan pari bakar, air tebu air kelapa pandan and air mata kucing..

On our way back, I asked my sister to drop by at the Teak furniture shop. Finally bought a day bed for my mum..my choice not the one that she like..due to the price and the size..

Thought to surprise her with the day bed, but unfortunately my nephew already broke the news to my mum and she keep on asking what we have bought...he he..we have no choice. I hope she is happy with the new furnitures..My husband did ask me where she wants to place all the furnitures...hi hi.let her decide laaa..

We went back to Shah Alam after solat Tarawih at around 11pm. Reached Shah Alam at 1 am.

UPSR sudah berlalu

Debaran UPSR sudah berakhir. Kini hanya menunggu result keluar. Seharusnya doa diteruskan lagi, cuma kandungan doanya mungkin berbeza..

I have spent 3 days at school to support Adik. While waiting for her, spent my time at surau to perform solat Dhuha and Hajat, recite surah Yaasin and continue recite AlQuran.

Alhamudulillah Adik has gone thru the exam dengan tenang walaupun ada sedikit gementar dan sejuk tangan pada hari pertama. This time, ada additional Aptitude test on the 3rd day. Suppose there is another test ie PSRA on Friday but was postponed to 30th September.

Mudah2an Adik mendapat keputusan cemerlang.

Debaran UPSR

UPSR is scheduled on 8-10 thSeptember 2009..

From my point of view, Adik already put her best effort. She also perform solat hajat on her own almost everyday. We also pray for her all the time. To the last minute, teacher Marzuki still giving exercises for Science and Maths. Tcr Marzuki has been teaching Kakak & Adik since last year, and this year we still continue taking him for personal teaching for Adik only. For the past few month, Azizah ie Adik's friend joined Adik because her father requested for Azizah to join Adik. Better for Adik because at least she will not feel bored doing exercises alone with Tcr Marzuki. We really thank Tcr Marzuki for his effort and guidance in helping Adik to improve her Science and Maths.

On 3rd September, SKS7 organized a Majlis Solat Hajat for Year 6 student and on 4th September was Majlis Restu Ilmu. Adik told me that she hugged the teachers and she cried when looking at Teacher Salbiah's workstation. Tcr Salbiah is on leave performing umrah for 2 weeks since 1st day of Ramadhan. I think she will becoming back today. She is also our neighbour and teaching Adik BM & BI at home.

Wish Adik all the best for her UPSR and hope she will get the best result. InsyaAllah.

I always told her usaha sungguh2, berdoa dan bertawakal kepada Allah swt ..apa yang kita akan dapat nanti, kita terima dengan redha..same phrase I have been telling Abang and Kakak again and again..

Our biggest food feast in Ramadhan

We usually had rice and simple lauk for iftar besides buah tamar..but on 28th August (our annivessary day), everyone buat surprise sampai penuh meja..


I asked Yuli to cook ikan tenggiri masak kicap and sambal tumis sotong. And she add up pecal (sbb ada lebih bahan pecal)..Since I got business plan meeting on that day and expect will be coming home late, I bought some kuih and laksam from the cafetaria..for ulangan makan after tarawih..


And Ayah bought 2 ekor ayam golek and murtabak..that makes our small dining table cannot cater for all food, and we have to move to another dining table in the living...

Merdeka Day - Satu Malaysia

31st August 2009 adalah Hari Ulangtahun Kemerdekaan ke 52..


Pagi tadi selepas Solat Subuh disurau Al Mawaddah, satu forum diadakan (first time forum selepas Subuh)

Erti Kemerdekaan dalam Islam :

1. Merdekakan diri dari dosa iaitu taubat dari dosa2 besar. Mohon keampunan dari Allah swt

2. Merdekakan diri dari hawa nafsu

Contoh : Nafsu makan. Umat Islam makan mengikut adab2/syariah seperti membaca basmallah dan ada sukatan tertentu iaitu 1/3 makanan, 1/3 air dan 1/3 untuk nafas

3. Merdekakan diri dari melakukan maksiat

Kuliah end at 8am..

Parcel from Terengganu

I always bought something new to be wear during solat tarawih..last year I bought 2 kain sembahyang(telekung). My friend Husna bought it for me from Terengganu. I used the same type of kain sembahyang for the past 7 years..The year before, I bought new jubah because I still have many 'new' kain sembahyang during my Haj in 2004

This year, I planned to wear kaftan (due to the hot weather) but I want new kain sembahyang. Husna came back from Riyadh for holiday. Took the opportunity to kirim her kain sembahyang. Bought 3 for me, 2 each for my daughter and 1 each for my mum and mum in law..thank you to Husna..susah payah belikan and post..now she is back in Riyadh..sangat jealous nanti Husna dapat Raya di tanah suci ..

Parcel from Kuantan

A week before Ramadhan, I received a parcel from Kuantan. Kak Mun posted my baju kurung. I bought the kains during our vacation in Terengganu and some from Gulatis..yes!!baju baru for Raya, office and kenduri kawin

Excerpt from Kuliah subuh Surau Al Mawaddah berkaitan puasa :

Umat Islam mula disyariatkan untuk berpuasa pada tahun 2H ketika perang Badar. Pada ketika itu umat Islam diberi pilihan samada untuk berpuasa atau fidyah iaitu memberi makan orang miskin (bukan setakat beras sahaja)

Bersahur

1. Yang membezakan puasa umat Islam dan ahli kitab adalah dengan bersahur. At least kurma dan air
2. Lewatkan bersahur (menghampiri waktu subuh)


Ramadhan berlainan dari bulan2 yang lain sebab dalam bulan Ramadhan ada malam Lailatul Qadar, ada solat sunat tarawih, dapat pahala jika bersahur, dan pahala jika baca Quran..

Pada bulan Ramadhan juga Al Quran diturunkan..

Bagaimana untuk menghargai Ramadhan?

Allah memberikan Ramadhan dengan penuh kasih sayang..maka kita sebagai umat Islam perlu terima bulan ini dengan penuh kasih sayang. Rebutlah peluang dalam bulan Ramadhan ini..

Kesalahan orang yang berpuasa atau tidak mendapat pahala puasa Ramadhan adalah jika tidak mengerjakan solat 5 waktu..

Family reunion- More stories

Actually the reunion event was not only the kenduri & tahlil..Since Mak's house sudah di repaint and some renovation done and in progress, maka banyak lah kerja mengemas yang perlu dilakukan. Actually Kak Ani, Ayah and Adin had few plans for Mak's house. Besides the mengecat semula, bilik air dan tandas dalam rumah dibaiki dan diberi wajah baru..I am so happy. And tandas luar rumah juga di baiki dan ditambah another bilik air..Also cabinet dapur akan ditukar pintu baru..

And what we did during the kenduri day,beside the masak2 activity adalah mengemas rumah..buang yang buruk2, rearrange and beli baru..

On saturday morning, right after solat subuh, we started with the masak2. Cuci ikan,bersihkan sotong dan udang. Prepare for the marinate ingredients and marinate, simpan peti ais. Settle semua, mandi and solat zohor, went out with Ayah and Zaki to a furniture shop. We bought new dinner table 8 seater, side cabinet, dressing table and buffet & hutch..they delivered them all that evening except the dining table which will be delivered within 10 days.

From the furniture shop, we went to Carefour to buy BBQ sauce, thousand island, sausage & salad.

I slept at 1 am that night. Next morning, we continue the cleaning work and rearrange until noon. We left Mak's house after zohor.

And I took leave on Monday to have a rest. Infact my body aching the whole week because of the intensive hardwork for two days.. :-(

Actually it does not stop there. Me, Ayah & Kak Ani have some more plans for Mak's house..tunguuuu!!!

Family reunion - Solat Jemaah & Majlis Tahlil

Kami solat jemaah maghrib diimamkan oleh Abang yang sulong and followed by bacaan Yaasin & Tahlil lead by Ayah.

Ayah & Adin discussing on something after tahlil while waiting for Isya'Ayah menyampaikan amanat mak, update on certain family matters and hoping that this event will be annual event for the family..after 16years of marriage, I think this is the first time we managed to organise a family reunion for the family After solat isya'
