Pagi tadi selepas Solat Subuh disurau Al Mawaddah, satu forum diadakan (first time forum selepas Subuh)

Erti Kemerdekaan dalam Islam :

1. Merdekakan diri dari dosa iaitu taubat dari dosa2 besar. Mohon keampunan dari Allah swt

2. Merdekakan diri dari hawa nafsu

Contoh : Nafsu makan. Umat Islam makan mengikut adab2/syariah seperti membaca basmallah dan ada sukatan tertentu iaitu 1/3 makanan, 1/3 air dan 1/3 untuk nafas

3. Merdekakan diri dari melakukan maksiat

Kuliah end at 8am..

Parcel from Terengganu

I always bought something new to be wear during solat tarawih..last year I bought 2 kain sembahyang(telekung). My friend Husna bought it for me from Terengganu. I used the same type of kain sembahyang for the past 7 years..The year before, I bought new jubah because I still have many 'new' kain sembahyang during my Haj in 2004

This year, I planned to wear kaftan (due to the hot weather) but I want new kain sembahyang. Husna came back from Riyadh for holiday. Took the opportunity to kirim her kain sembahyang. Bought 3 for me, 2 each for my daughter and 1 each for my mum and mum in law..thank you to Husna..susah payah belikan and post..now she is back in Riyadh..sangat jealous nanti Husna dapat Raya di tanah suci ..

Parcel from Kuantan

A week before Ramadhan, I received a parcel from Kuantan. Kak Mun posted my baju kurung. I bought the kains during our vacation in Terengganu and some from Gulatis..yes!!baju baru for Raya, office and kenduri kawin

Excerpt from Kuliah subuh Surau Al Mawaddah berkaitan puasa :

Umat Islam mula disyariatkan untuk berpuasa pada tahun 2H ketika perang Badar. Pada ketika itu umat Islam diberi pilihan samada untuk berpuasa atau fidyah iaitu memberi makan orang miskin (bukan setakat beras sahaja)

Bersahur

1. Yang membezakan puasa umat Islam dan ahli kitab adalah dengan bersahur. At least kurma dan air
2. Lewatkan bersahur (menghampiri waktu subuh)


Ramadhan berlainan dari bulan2 yang lain sebab dalam bulan Ramadhan ada malam Lailatul Qadar, ada solat sunat tarawih, dapat pahala jika bersahur, dan pahala jika baca Quran..

Pada bulan Ramadhan juga Al Quran diturunkan..

Bagaimana untuk menghargai Ramadhan?

Allah memberikan Ramadhan dengan penuh kasih sayang..maka kita sebagai umat Islam perlu terima bulan ini dengan penuh kasih sayang. Rebutlah peluang dalam bulan Ramadhan ini..

Kesalahan orang yang berpuasa atau tidak mendapat pahala puasa Ramadhan adalah jika tidak mengerjakan solat 5 waktu..

Family reunion- More stories

Actually the reunion event was not only the kenduri & tahlil..Since Mak's house sudah di repaint and some renovation done and in progress, maka banyak lah kerja mengemas yang perlu dilakukan. Actually Kak Ani, Ayah and Adin had few plans for Mak's house. Besides the mengecat semula, bilik air dan tandas dalam rumah dibaiki dan diberi wajah baru..I am so happy. And tandas luar rumah juga di baiki dan ditambah another bilik air..Also cabinet dapur akan ditukar pintu baru..

And what we did during the kenduri day,beside the masak2 activity adalah mengemas rumah..buang yang buruk2, rearrange and beli baru..

On saturday morning, right after solat subuh, we started with the masak2. Cuci ikan,bersihkan sotong dan udang. Prepare for the marinate ingredients and marinate, simpan peti ais. Settle semua, mandi and solat zohor, went out with Ayah and Zaki to a furniture shop. We bought new dinner table 8 seater, side cabinet, dressing table and buffet & hutch..they delivered them all that evening except the dining table which will be delivered within 10 days.

From the furniture shop, we went to Carefour to buy BBQ sauce, thousand island, sausage & salad.

I slept at 1 am that night. Next morning, we continue the cleaning work and rearrange until noon. We left Mak's house after zohor.

And I took leave on Monday to have a rest. Infact my body aching the whole week because of the intensive hardwork for two days.. :-(

Actually it does not stop there. Me, Ayah & Kak Ani have some more plans for Mak's house..tunguuuu!!!

Kami solat jemaah maghrib diimamkan oleh Abang yang sulong and followed by bacaan Yaasin & Tahlil lead by Ayah.

After settle packing and load our things into Cik Timah, we started our journey at around 9pm..we stopped by at Seremban R&R to have some meals..and hot tea for me..We reached Batu Pahat around 1am..

Family reunion - our preparation

My husband's family planned to have a family gathering cum kenduri arwah & majlis tahlil at my MIL's house on 15th August 2009. Kebetulan, rumah mak (MIL) baru di cat dan sedikit pengubahsuaian telah dilakukan untuk bilik air & tandas untuk kemudahan mak yg dah uzur.

Ayah belikan mak dinner set baru. Kami beli di Akojaya Subang Jaya. Tak pasal2 saya terpaksa register jadi member. I took the opportunity to buy some special edition pinggan akojaya..ha ha..

Below are the sets yg kami beli..6 set 4 pc Starter Pack..I like this one..all white..and also a 40pc dinner set.. Ayah order ikan jenahak, ikan pari, udang & sotong untuk BBQ..balik dari ofis hari Jumaat, kami repack ice box utk isi ikan, udang & sotong dan arrange dalam cik Timah supaya tidak bocor..tah berapa lapis plastik & surat khabar..belum sampai kampung dah letih..belum pack kainbaju lagi..

SKS7 is close

Due to the H1N1, the school was closed beginning 12th August til 19th August. We got the sms from PIBG on the 11th evening. I heard 4 students were affected by the virus and many more demam.

Adik was in the midst of 4th UPSR trial but they have to stop half way and to be continued on 20th. I hope this incident will not drop the students momentum.

Advised Adik to stay at home and plan for her revision schedule. Her BM & English tuition class also has stopped because her teacher is going for umrah this weekend and the other teacher who teach her Maths and Science is not well.

I have to be alert with the environment and current situation. Bought mask for Abang & Kakak to be worn at school since SMKS7 is not closed. But according to Kakak, attendance of students not so encouraging.

Now, have to berdoa banyak2 kepada Allah supaya kami dilindungi dari virus H1N1 ini.

PMR Trial

Abang's PMR trial has just ended. The exams started on 10th August and ended yesterday 17th August. Yesterday was only Bahasa Arab since Abang took 9 subjects. Hopefully Abang will get good result.

World of Kittens - Special treat for Nelly

8th August 2009

Nelly was not well. She muntah2 and cirit birit. Nelly has a typical kampong cat's habit ie checking the waste basket. I saw her took a chicken bone from the waste basket and lick it..probably that makes her fell sick.

I took her to see Vets at S13. Dr Zul gave her jab for her fever and fed her charcoal pill for her diarhoea. Advised me to put her on observation for 3 days. If she does not cure, have to take her back to Vets. Dr Zul gave 5 days supply of medicine. That cost me RM20.

Put her in the cage separate from Jimmy and she cannot be fed for 3 hours. After had our dinner, I put back Jimmy in the cage together with Nelly. I see that Nelly is progressing well..Alhamdulillah

9th August 2009

Nelly is back to normal, running and playing around with Jimmy. But she still looking for something in the waste basket. Apa hal lah awak ni..She keep on meowing to me when I was busy cooking in the kitchen..

Let see, what I can prepare for you dear..I took out a piece of ikan tenggiri and boil it.

Put it in the bowl, shred it and let it cold..took Nelly quietly and let her eat alone..

Have to put Nelly in the cage to finish her meal cause Uncle Jerry would like to have some portion..Oh no..not today JerryHmmmm..nice meal mama..thanx..finger licking good

Then Jerry went to check out for the leftovers..pity Jerry..Am so sorry dear

Our Privacy Sunday

9th August 2009

Today is Yulis's outing day. She wants to go to Kelang. After done with the laundry, sweeping the floor and prepare nasi goreng for our breakfast, she went out at around 9 am.

As usual, Ayah went to surau for Solat subuh and kuliah subuh, and had his breakfast at surau. When he came home, he ask for Cik Timah's key to bring it to car wash..

Alarming the kids to get up, shower and have their breakfast. Then please do your revision today..

Ayah came home from car wash. Asking me whether I want to cook or not. If not, then he planned to buy Nasi beriani Arab..ooo..no need. Already planned something for lunch. Then Ayah continue with his own project. He pumped all the bicycle tyres, took Abang's bike to kompleks PKNS to replace its tube..come back and replace the bath room's bulb. The bathroom was lightless for more than 2 weeks.. :-p

I take a look at my farms in facebook while waiting for the chickens and fishes to defrost. My plan today for lunch..a simple one..

Before starts cooking, already taken my allergy pills, ubat batuk, seretide and nasonex to help me last longer in the cooking environment..hu hu

We had our lunch at 12.30 noon.. Done with the cleaning, everyone went upstairs to have a rest and perform zohor prayer..

Now they are relaxing and watching movies..and I am still loyal to my blog and farm in FB..

Program Peningkatan Pembelajaran dan Sahsiah Diri - SKS7

The school has organised a programme for the student and parents. This programme is meant for class 4A, 5A and 6A. They had a teknik menjawab soalan for Bahasa Melayu and Sains in the morning and in the afternoon is a motivation talk for the students and parents. Turn ups not very encouraging..

Actually before I left to Sunway Pyramid this morning, already pesan Kakak to tell Yuli to prepare for lunch. But when I reached home at 12.15, nothing was prepared. I looked for Yuli and saw her chatting with my neighbour's maid..hmmm..2.30 ni nak pergi sekolah Adik pulak..


Took out the the chicken, fish, veges from the fridge..Within 45 minutes, lunch are served..with the help of Yuli..of course..he he

A Hectic Saturday

8th August 2009

6.00 am - wake up call for the children..mandi, solat subuh and get ready to school for Adik & Abang..This should be done a few times..just like we put our alarm clock to snooze..huh!

7.15 am - Ayah sent Adik to school

7.45 am - Ayah, Me & Abang went out for breakfast, sent Abang to school

8.15 am - Me & Ayah to Post office then to Pasar Seksyen 6

10.30 am - To Sunway Pyramid because Ayah wants to go to Sony Service Station..something to do with his mobile phone. He wanted to install blackberry into his Sony P1 phone..Done at Sony SC, we drop by at Jusco to survey for something that we planned to buy for emak Batu Pahat

11.30 am - We left Sunway Pyramid to pick up Abang at school around 12.00 noon

12.15 pm - prepare express lunch for the family

1.00 pm - lunch & rest

2.45 pm - To SKS7 to attend a motivation talk for parents. Adik was at school from morning till evening

5.00 pm - Program end, drop by at Hidayah restaurant to buy roti canai for Kakak & Abang. Adik and Ayah had their roti canai at the restaurant

5.45 pm - reached home and Yuli informed Nelly is sick.. Nelly muntah2 and cirit birit..hu hu..she looks very weak..

6.15 pm - took Nelly to Vet Clinic at S13 with Adik (kesian Adik kepenatan..but because she really loves cats, she is willing to do anything for them..furthermore we just lost Becky..don't want to lose Nelly)

7.05 pm - reached home from Vet..

Tonite am not going anywhere..letih aaa..

After had dinner, I am stucked with FB, blogging and surfing..and coughing..uhuks

World of Kittens - Share the sorrow

Don't know why, this week sahaja ada saja story about cats death..first Emma's cat, then Ilah's cat..I feel so sad..teringat betapa sedihnya kami masa Binbin mati..in fact until today, kalau balik malam, I just cannot look at the place where we saw him lying dead..

And today, again, never expect my kitten will be found dead in the drain..terasa betapa carelessnya saya..dah banyak kali pesan pada Yuli, do not let the kittens play at the backlane without supervision..they are too small..nanti jatuh longkang..and my worries already turns into reality...I know its already fated..after I wrote the entry about Becky's death, I feel like want to jenguk the others..I cleaned their litter box and add some food into their bowls..talked to them..everybody looks so quiet..not excited as always..so unusual..so strange..

I took Kiki out..hold her and hug her..she just meow softly..poor Kiki..I know you are very close to Becky..I know she is your baby..U fed her everyday..

She still breast feed Becky..even tho Becky's appearance is totally different with Kiki, but she inherit almost 90% Kiki's caharacter..especially the way she sleep..she likes to bite my fingers whenever I hold her..I always lift her front leg to show her white fur..Becky..u are not 100% black..see u got white fur under your arm pit..he he..her fur as smooth as velvet..Adik always give that remark..Mama..Adik suka bulu Becky..lembut sangat..hmmm..I agree with you

Jimmy and Nelly share the same cage with Nelly..they just lie down and not active at all..Jimmy put her head on my finger when I touch him...I took Jimmy out and hold him..he just look straight into my eyes..uhh..Jimmy..I know u missed Becky already..but what can we do..Allah loves her more..there must be blessing in disguise..we never know..

Mimi, Nina, Jerry, Harry and Kiki just stare at me without a single sound..alright guys...I better go or I might end up burst into tears with that kind of look..I switch off the light, wish them good nite, assalamualaikum and closed the door..

Kakak came..Mama, kesian Kiki..dia rapat sangat dengan Becky..selalu main kejar2 ...hmmm..

World of Kittens - Becky in Our Loving Memory

7th August 2009



I do not know where and how to start..actually I am shocked..still cannot believe it happens again..we lost Joey and Ronnie on 22nd June, and today Becky has met her destiny in a very tragic way..Only Allah knows how I felt...



This morning when I was leaving to office, I saw the three kittens, Jimmy, Nelly and Becky at the backlane..my maid always let them play at the backlane in the morning..I asked Yuli to take them all in because I saw few stray cats were trying to attack them..



When I am back home from work, I only see Jimmy and Nelly playing in the kitchen..while Jerry, Mimi and Nina watching..I just don't feel right..something is wrong..I asked Adik to look for Becky outside and upstairs while I went to the backlane to look for her..



Then Adik joined me, when she saw a black kitten next door. We tried to climb up the fence to get Becky(we thought it was her), but the cat ran away..Adik said, its not Becky..and suddenly she just point out to something in the drain at the backlane..oh no!!its Becky..feel like screaming but I am just speechless..Yuli came out asking whether we have found Becky..Yeah, we found her..dead in the drain..uwaaaaa!!!!



Yuli took her out from the drain and I asked her to prepare to bury Becky at the place where we buried Lily. I took Becky and cleaned her with some water..I saw a big cut at her head..suspected bitten by a dog..yes lately there are few wild dogs hanging around..don't know where they came from. My maid informed she heard the dogs barking at the backlane...I do not want to imagine how they got Becky..and how Becky end up into the drain..



Harry, Mimi, Jerry and Kiki were watching me cleaning Becky with tears..I took Kiki out from the cage and talk to her..I am so sorry..Your Becky is dead..all your kittens died..after all the pain you have gone thru to give birth..Kiki is so attached with Becky..they always hang around together..yesterday morning both of them went upstairs into my room..surprisingly, Becky manage to jump into my bed..however, since I was not well yesterday, I do not want to be disturbed and asked Kakak to take them out..



Back to my poor Becky, I wrapped her with a towel and asked Adik to pass Becky to Yuli to bury her before its getting dark..



We love u Becky..we will miss u..

This is Becky when she was about 3 weeks old..she died at the age of 4months 1 week..

Get together & Makan-makan

2nd August 2009

Secara tidak sengaja, satu aktiviti makan2 telah dicadangkan..tak tahu siapa yg start dulu..initial plan was agenda makan-makan ni host by Lia, tapi saya counter propose buat di rumah saya memandangkan keadaan Lia yang ada baby 3 bulan dan maidless..

As host, saya add with fruits, fried chicken n nugget for the kids, mango juice & teh o..Also help to prepare the ulam2an for Laksa Johor so that Lia just prepare the kuah laksa & spaghetti only

Since we were back from Genting on saturday petang, we can only go the market on Sunday morning. Came back from market, pergi Giant pulak..then balik baru sibuk2 nak masak macaroni and prepare the ulam2an..lucky to have maid yang cekap dan mudah menerima arahan..10 years being with us..Goreng ayam, nugget,buat air, potong buah, sambal belacan etc etc ..kalau tak pandai memang tak patut le..I also get the girls to help me on the table set up and the vacuuming work..thank you to Kakak and Adik..Adik also help me with the tauge (buang ekor)..kesian sampai kecut2 jari..I told the girls..this is the time for both of you to learn..same like what my mum told me dulu2..ha ha..I was so occupied with the ulam2an ..nak hiris halus2 all the kacang panjang, bawang, timun..hu hu..guess I am not the seni type..

Settle everything at around 1.30, naik atas to freshen up and solat zohor..Licho called to ask for direction..sudah banyak kali datang pun, kena tanya lagi..she still in Putrajaya to collect the sate..jauhnya ambik sate..

Ju & family were the first one to arrive..Ju's puding looks so tempting..ha ha..sayang masa nak letak puding on the plate, ada sedikit cacat dah puding itu..tapi rasanya itu yang penting..

Then Licho sampai with her sate..again, get the sate & the accessories kedalam bekas..sambil2 tu rasa sate..ha ha..sudah lapar ni..nasib baik lah ada banyak bekas2 yang boleh digunakan..tak sesia lah saya membeli belah sakan during warehouse sales..(hi hi..alasan kukuh ni)

While waiting for Timmy & Lia, kami pun makan2 la apa yang ada dulu..sambil2 layan Alya & Alysa..and of course borak2..Lia sesat tah kemana2, Timmy dah sampai with her yummy choc cake and cheese cake (special request)..sedapnya..then finally Lia with her Laksa Johor ..

Quickly we get the laksa to be served..and the feast begin..makan-makan, borak-borak..and lastly tapau time..masa ni keluar lah segala tipuware and tupperware..

Hope next time, we can have another get together..teringat masa dok kuantan dulu..hmmm..

Hi Tea at UiTM Hotel

1st August 2009

Planned to take the kids for Hi Tea at UiTM Hotel on 25th July to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately Abang got Seminar Bahasa Arab on that day 8-5..

On the way back from Genting, Ayah suggested we have our lunch there..nak ganti yg tak jadi on 25th tu..I agreed..

We reached there at 2.30 pm, and had our lunch plus dinner..ha ha..we took turn to perform our solat Zohor..However, Kakak do not want the buffet and ordered ala Carte for her..

We left the Hotel at almost 4pm..kekenyangan..skipped dinner..

Genting Highlands Theme Park

1st August 2009

Kami lepak2 di bilik before check out at 10am..Dah alang sampai Awana, kami naik ke Genting Highlands..no intention to go to the theme park..dah pernah masuk in 2007..tempat2 macam ni, dah pergi sekali dah cukup...we had our breakfast at Mc D and just pusing2 dalam Indoor Theme Park then terus balik at 1pm..we plan to have our lunch at Shah Alam..Sedikit jam selepas tol Gombak sebab polis tutup jalan, tinggal 1 lane sahaja..no other purpose selain dari menyusahkan sahaja..all the vehicles berimpit2..semua nak cepat and nak cut the q..kami terlepas 2 susur masuk ke DUKE..Ayah blame the sign board..he he..manage to reach Shah Alam at 2.30 pm. Alhamduillah..
