Catatan perjalanan-Europe tour - Overview

We have planned for this vacation since March 2008. I started to survey flight price and make price comparisons and flight duration. Finally we decided to take MAS. Later, I started to email to tour operators in London for our Europe tour and will be on our own in London. With the help from my friend Yati in Nottingham, finally we decided to engage Kelana Convoy as our Europe tour guide. Hani is very helpful. We appreciate her help and efforts to ensure we get the best out of the best. Hairul as our tour guide also very very sporting and understanding. He knows & understand our needs. Hani also helps us on the hotel searching in London. She recommended Royal Cambridge Hotel(own by Malaysian) situated near Paddington to make it easy for us to get to King Cross Stn. Not forgetting our friend Kumar for his willingness to take leave and take us around in London, and let us use his sim card during our stay in Europe & London. And also to Nuri & Hidayah & friends at Royal Cambridge Hotel in London for their kind hospitality.

After several emails & negotiation with Hani, finally we agreed on the itinary as follows :

15November 2008 - KUL -LHR. Overnite at Royal Cambridge London

16November 2008 - London to Lille France via Eurostar. Lille to Netherlands with MPV. Overnite at Warder, Netherlands

17November 2008 - Volendam, Armsterdam tour, then to Brussels. Overnite in Brussels

18November 2008 - Brussels tour and to Paris. Overnite in Paris

19November 2008 - Walt Disney Studio & Paris tour

20November 2008 - Disneyland Park & Paris tour

21November 2008 - Paris tour and to Geneve, Switzerland via TGV train (Lyon to Cornavin)

22November 2008 - Geneve tour

23November 2008 - Geneve to Luton, London via EasyJet flight. Bus from Luton airport to Baker Street then to Royal Cambridge Hotel

24November 2008 - London tour

25November 2008 - London tour then to LHR. LHR-KUL at 10pm

26November 2008 - Arrival at KLIA 6.20pm

Catatan perjalanan - Europe tour - home sweet home

We are back home now ...tired and happy of course..

We reached home on 26th Nov 8pm after the long hours flight ie 12 hours and 30minutes..after the 12 days of travelling and cold weather, we felt so exhausted. First thing we did when we reached home was to hug all our kittens..wahhh..we really missed them..Our maid told us that all of them slept in our bed every day...they probably missed us also..its good to be home

We are adjusting ourselves because every one woke up at 3 am and couldn't sleep..my son even went downstairs to eat rice and both my daughter surf the internet at 3am..my husband went to surau at 5am..he could not sleep also..

World of kittens - In loving memory of Lily

16th November 2008, on our way from London to Lille, France, we were in Eurostar train when we receive sms from our maid to inform that Lily is dead. Thought of keeping it to my self but at last I have to tell every one. Adik was so sad and she cried all the way. We just let her let go her tears and she was okay when we reach Lille. But it does not mean, she forgot about Lily because from time to time she will voice out her frustration..I told her we still have 5 kittens at home..but its not the same mama..I want Lily..I love Lily..poor Lily..why must she die when we were not at home..

Petang tadi, Atok , Uncle Fadhil & Ma k Ani sudah bertolak balik ke Batu Pahat. Mereka sampai dari Batu Pahat semalam pd jam 1 ptg semalam untuk menghantar PakLong & Maklong.Last nite kami telah hantar Pak Long &Mak Long keTabung Haji Kelana Jaya.Kami keluar rumah selepas solat maghrib dan tiba di KJ pd jam 8 malam. Mereka masuk pd jam 930malam.

Semoga PakLong&MakLong sentiasa sihat dan mendapat Haji yang Mabrur

World of Kittens - Lily oh Lily

Even tho Lily is small & thin, she is an active little kitten..she likes to play around and meoww loudly if we leave her in the cage. She hate it if being bullied by the others.
Today,Lily looks very weak. We took her to the clinic. Dr said probably her immune system is not strong.
Dr gave her immune booster to help her develop her immune system and deworm her.
Please get well soon baby.We luv u......

UPSR - Kakak oh kakak

Result UPSR telah diumumkan semalam 13 November. Tahniah kakak kerana mendapat 5A. Tahniah kpd kawan2Kakak juga.Seramai 48org murid telah mendapat 5A. Best result so far for SKS7.

Sejak musim Haji bermula, kawan2 ansara mula email mengemail utk inform akan keberangkatan ke tanah suci dan bermaaf2an. Antara kawan2 seangkatan MRSM Seremban yg turut sama mendapat jemputan menjadi tetamu Allah

If possible, we tried not to kurung them but sometimes we have to..at night, they will be in the cage. We place the cage in our wet kitchen.

World of Kittens - Who is Pocong

Pocong is Dr Arlin's cat. She is Mimi, Nina & our late Bin bin's mummy. She use to visit our house when we took back Mimi & Nina from Dr Arlin's house. She is sweet & smart. Mimi inherit her round eyes

World of Kittens - All about Nina

Nina is a domestic short hair (kampung) kitten. She is Mimi's sister. We called her Kak Ngah because her size is smaller than Mimi. Nina also an outdoor kitten. She likes to climb up the tree and sit on the wall fence. She likes to check my car in the morning everytime I open the car door & start the engine..she is so loving & caring and easy to adapt herself with new kittens. She likes to clean Harry when he was small & now will check on Lily & Jerry if they need to be groom..

World of kittens - All about Mimi

Mimi is a female domestic short hair (kampung) kitten. She is consider the oldest among all and we call her Kak Long. She likes Abang very much and always lepak on the computer table when Abang is using the PC.

Mimi is an outdoor kitten. She likes to stay outside and will always be the last one to come into the house. I like her round eyes..

World of Kittens - Lily & Jerry

Jerry & Lily adapt themselves well with our residents kitten. After few days of hardship to get along with the 4 kittens, finally they were accepted. The not so friendly Kiki is the last one to accept them..I love to see their funny actions & blurr faces

JERRY - the handsome male kitten. Likes to bite my feet and bite my hand if I hold him..

LILY - the sweet female kitten..she must eat more becoz she is so thin & light like a feather

Kiki is a female siamese kitten. We bought her from a breeder on 14th June 2008. She was about 3 months that time. She is smart & intelligent. Very attached to human. She is Ayah's favourite.

Kiki is not so friendly especially to unknown human or cats. She always ran upstairs if there is a stranger.

World of Kittens - All about Harry

Harry is a male kitten. We bought him from a breeder on 2nd August 2008. He was about 2 months old that time. After a week being with us, he fall sick & had a diarrhoea for more than 1 week. We took him to see the Dr two times. I hardly sleep at night thinking & worrying that he might die the next day. He is so 'comot' and smelly that time. And now, after 3 months, he grew up to be the most handsome & macho kitten..

Bertolak dari Shah Alam to Bandar Tun Razak. Reach Angah's house after maghrib. Everybody are there already. The kids really enjoy to see each other and refuse to sleep early

19/11/2006

After finish cooking for our bekal, we start our journey to Rompin. Had our lunch at the beach. After prayer, we proceed to Pekan and drop at the museum. We then proceed to Kuantan. We went to Tok Bak's house and visit our friend Dr Asmah who is going for Haj that year

We go back to Shah Alam while the others follow Angah back to Bandar Tun Razak

Family Gathering 2007 - Port Dickson

We had a family gathering in December 2007 at PD. We rent 3 apartments, cook & enjoy..was great fun..the kids really enjoy it. They spent most of the time in the swimming pool.

We also visited the Ostrich farm in PD..

Our first family gathering was in Cameron Highland year 2002. 2004, everybody agreed to go to Kuching. We enjoyed our happy time together... I invite my mum in law to join and my sister also get her parents in law to join us. Along did not join us this time as he just came back from Kuching with his family on company's trip.

We went for river cruise , Sepilok Orang Utan and Kampung Budaya.

Bertolak ke KK dari KLIA. Transit Brunei 45 minit. Perjalanan mengambil masa hampir 4 jam. Boring & letih. Ayah bersin2 dalam flight

Menginap di Hotel Promenade. Mama book Junior Suite facing the sea. bestnyaa..Makan bekalan nasi impit, sambal tumis & serunding

Petang - ambil taxi and ronda2 bandar KK. Taxi driver was so friendly, nice & sporting..thumb up to u uncle

Malam - ayah belanja makan sea food opposite Promenade..sedap & reasonable price

Bertolak jam 7 pagi ke Gunung Kinabalu & Poring Hot Spring. Naik coaster travel agent. Mama dah pre book for this tour. Weather was fine in KK but raining when we reach Poring Hot Spring. Naik walk way canopy dalam hujan lebat. Had our lunch on our way to National Park. Had a chance to view puncak Gunung Kinabalu..Masya Allah..cantiknya..then kami ke National Park..Since no place for us to perform solat, we have to rush back to find a place that we can perform solat. The driver stop at a petrol station for us to solat. Reach our hotel at almost 7pm. So tiring...

At night we just order room service for dinner. Ayah went out with his friend to see a Dr. He is really not feeling well.

We chartered a boat to go round the 4 islands at Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. We can see Gunung Kinabalu from the sea..wow..

The boat ride was quite challenging and we feel like turning back. Finally we had passed the challenging part & got to see the sea coral & beautiful fish..Spent half day and go back to Hotel.

After taking some rest, me & husband went out to Filipino Market. We bought some souvenirs.

We went to fresh market to buy some fresh tiger prawns and anchovies. Some of the prawns are really big..After done with the packing, ayah went back to hotel and buy some food for the kids. I drop by at Filipino Market again for last minute shopping and walk back to the hotel with happy heart

We went back to KL in the evening. The flight stop at Labuan before proceed to KLIA

World of bookworms - Our collections

My husband & I like to read books. In other word, can call us bookworm. However, we have different sets of books. My husband's collection is more to political, biography and more serious books. As for me, I am more to leasure readings.
