On the way back from PWTC, we were stucked in a massive jam from KL Sentral to Bangsar due to ongoing construction works. We stopped by at UM's mosque for zohor prayer then straight to Shah Alam. Our lunch was delayed to 3pm. We decided to have lunch at Sahara Tent, Plaza Masalam and at the same time can send Cik Timah for body wash and vacum.



Felt a bit ralat because Kakak actually did not joined us to the book fair and this nyum nyum lunch. She has to attend Camp for Pemimpin Pelajar at school. Tapau roti arab and Kaskas gravy for her.

Pesta Buku Antarabangsa KL

27th March 2010

Plan for today is to explore the KL International Book Fair at PWTC. Reached there as early as 9.30am but the parking lot is already full. School buses every where. Must be pack already inside, I talked to myself. True enough, the foyer was so crowded but the doors are still closed. We studied the map and determined which booth will be the must go booth.

Started with Karangkraf, bought a novel, few deco magazines and recipes. Then to first floor to buy some exercise books for the children. We also bought Kamus Dewan, Kamus Tatabahasa and Tesaurus Bahasa Melayu.

PTS One is a must visit booth for the kids. Bought some story books for them and recipe books for me.

Sunday is western day

Plan hari ni adalah untuk masak baked macaroni, lasagna dan mushroom soup. No nasi today except for nasi untuk Ayah and ikan parang masak singgang

But our breakfast is a typical Malay breakfast,.he he

Bihun goreng by Yuli..And I bought nasi lemak & kuih koci at Pasar S6..since I don't really go for western (ehemm), I ate 2 nasi lemak..1 for breakfast and 1 for lunch..Our favourite kuih koci..Yuli cakap Awe buat lagi sedap

Lunch and dinner today..

Baked macaroni..buat extra utk bagi jiran sebelah sebab nak balas bekas..Lasagna before sent to oven..this was done mostly by my two girls..last week kakak nak sangat makan lasagna..kena beli kat pizza hut..Ayah cakap mama boleh buat tapi maybe setahun sekali je..cess!!perli ye..Kakak was assigned for the white sauce and diced the tomatoes, while Adik diced the onions..then the two girls finished up for the layers part..ok laa..sedap and licin...

Finally saya berjaya buat mushroom soup buat pertama kali..thanx to my lovely sister, Ida for the recipe..but seperti biasa saya modified ikut suka( I ommit the cream sebab rasa macam dah pekat)..Alhamdulillah jadi..thanx to my dear friend Ina for the motivation and keep on saying..senang je senang je..he he..

Yang penting Ayah boleh makan soup ni..

Lately I noticed that Kiki will always lepak at the main door...and staring at something outside the house..she seems so alert on something..then I realized that she actually is guarding the house from being entered by Tommy, our neighbour's cat..such a handsome cat..don't u think so Kiki? Tommy memang la selalu curi2 masuk dalam rumah..

Family outing - KLCC

Masa ronda2 di Pameran 1Malaysia Halal, Kakak ajak ke KLCC..dah lama tak pergi..ada apa kat KLCC selain dari orang yang ramai?? Tapi kami ikutkan jugak walaupun initially Ayah kurang setuju sebab Ayah tak larat nak jalan..hmmm..

So, kami ke KLCC, tengok satu dua kedai..nothing that interest us..lunch at Pizza Hut, on the way to car park, kami keluar tengok fountain and ambil gambar, then balik..

Ayah rehat2 di sini, rupa2nya Astro buat promo b-yond..we subscribe Astro for the first time here.. :-pLunch at Pizza Hut

Ayah ajak kami ke pameran Kempen 1 Malaysia Halal di Masjid Negara. Kami bertolak jam 9pagi. Sampai Masjid Negara hampir jam 10 pagi. Kereta dah penuh sesak dan orang dah ramai..

Catatan perjalanan Korea - The Hotels

We actually stayed in 2 hotels during our vacation in Seoul, Korea. I did ask the tour guide why we have to shift to another hotel? Simple answer from him..we did not manage to block 4 nites at one hotel..kerja leceh to unpack, pack and unpack..the good side, at least dapatlah rasa 2 hotel ala 5star di Seoul. The hotels actually are located in Songdo. Songdo is a new develop area meant for tourist. Being there rasa macam kat Putrajaya..terletak diluar kesibukan kota Seoul..nyaman dan sunyi..

1st 2 nites at Songdo Metro Hotel 2nd 2 nites at Songdo Park Hotel..

Nikmat Allah - Part 2

8th March 2010

Appointment with Dr Zainal pagi ni. Mula2 terkejut tengok q panjang untuk GL verification. Alhamdulillah settle within half hour, then ke klinik Dr. Alhamdulillah saya patient pertama.

Dr tanya khabar..camana rasa? much better compare to last saturday, tapi everytime saya kelip mata, rasa macam ada something dalam mata..

ok..kita tengok balik..eh..dah ok sangat ni..dah lekat balik..tinggal sikit lagi. So, kita tak payah buang la selaput tu, u pakai je ubat titis tu terus, insyaallah boleh lekat semula. Kalau nak buang tu sakit jugak, nanti mata u pedih je..kena tampal lagi macam hari tu..he he..takpe Dr..saya pakai ubat je..nanti kalau sakit lagi macam hari tu, datang balik jumpa saya..make sure jangan biarkan mata tu kering..pakai ubat tu..

Step out from bilik Dr dengan perasaan lega walaupun mata masih rasa pedih, at least tak kena buang and jadi zoro balik..Alhamdulillah

Hari ni masih ada masalah dengan PM care, tapi dah settle..;-)

Nikmat Allah

Kita selalunya tidak bersyukur akan nikmat Allah sehinggalah ianya di tarik balik. As times goes by, I then realize dah terlalu banyak nikmat yang Allah kurniakan kepada kami (saya terutamanya) dan sedikit demi sedikit Allah tarik balik..

I remember last time, a friend of mine had an accident and she lost one sight. One of her eye was badly injured and she is now live with one eye..Imagine living with one eye..but my dear friend told me that she is lucky and bersyukur because she still has one eye to enjoy her life..

I woke up at 5am in the morning and cannot open my eyes..I can feel the pain in my right eyes..pedih pedih pedih..thats all came out from my mouth..I put some eye drops and went to sleep again because I cannot stand the pain..Then woke up again and cannot see what time is it because it was really painful..what happen to my right eye??Jalan meraba-raba dalam gelap ke bilik air untuk berwuduk and solat subuh tanpa membuka mata..sakit nya!!!then back to sleep..

Bangun semula melebihi jam 8 pagi, turun ke bawah..Ayah..pedihnya mata..apa yang tak kena ni? Ayah cakap, siap2 lah , SMC buka pagi ni, boleh jumpa Dr Zainal terus..jam 9 kami ke SMC (KPJ Selangor Specialist)..ramainya orang..register di klinik Dr Zainal..saya call juga PM Care untuk cuba dapatkan GL..banyak pulak soalnya..kena dapatkan refer letter klinik panel..saya inform klinik panel yang biasa saya pergi tutup hari Sabtu, klinik lain saya tak biasa..kami tak terima kes akak ni as emergency except on Sunday atau mata akak tercucuk sesuatu..laa..awak nak tunggu akak jadi Kassim Selamat baru nak bagi GL??tak payah laa..ok, saya bagi akak list klinik panel kat Shah Alam, akak pergi dapatkan refer letter, nanti saya bagi GL..dah, tak payah la dik, mata akak ni sakit, awak nak suruh akak pergi klinik panel dulu, then datang sini balik? kalau tak, akak bayar dulu dan claim kemudian..hmm..ye laa..

Lamanya menunggu, hampir 2 jam..Dr Zainal check mata kanan.... hmm..ooo..apa ni Dr?

Dr pun on kan skrin, and cakap kat Ayah..awak tengok ni ye..rupa2nya selaput atas mata hitam saya seakan tersiat..Dr Zainal tanya, pernah tercucuk atau terkena apa2 yang tajam ke? Entah, tak ingat la Dr..

ok..hari ni saya letak ubat dulu dan tampal mata awak..esok lebih kurang time ni, baru boleh buka..lepas tu letak ubat yang saya bagi nanti..Monday datang balik, saya tengok, kalau tak ok, kita kena buang selaput yang tersiat tu..haa??kena op ke Dr? alaa..sikit je..buat kat sini..bius tak? bius la dgn ubat titik..nanti lepas tu awak akan rasa pedih je dalam satu hari..hu hu..takut..

Pembantu Dr pun tak tunggu lama, letak ubat dalam mata, tampal dengan kapas, dan plaster mata sebelah kanan..uwaaa..macam pirate ke macam zoro? nak letak spec balik pun susah..Dr zainal cakap, tekan2 sikit, boleh tu..ok see u on Monday..

Kami keluar dari bilik Dr..saya rasa lantai macam tinggi rendah..tak boleh jalan..tak boleh balance..saya pegang tangan ayah...camana ni yah..I cannot balance myself..

Lamanya nak tunggu turn dapat ubat..then Ayah ajak jengah cafetaria..saya perasan semua orang tengok saya..yeah..here comes Pirate of the Carribean..Ayah cakap tak menarik..keluar dari main entrance, Ayah suruh tunggu kat situ, nanti ambik kereta dulu..

Balik singgah makan nasi ayam dulu..saya ikutkan jugak kehendak Ayah sebab Ayah teringin nak makan..walhal hakikatnya, saya tak selesa..rasa nak muntah dengan pandangan sebelah mata..and maybe sebab letak spec tak betul..pening..nak muntah!!! suap nasi pun tak kena kat mulut sebab tak boleh nak agak..begitu la keadaannya..rasa la macam mana bila Allah tarik balik pandangan sebelah mata..

Sampai rumah, saya terus tidur..sedar jam 3 lebih sebab Kak Zah call nak datang..saya bangun, berwuduk and solat zohor..arghhhh!!!rasa nak tumbang masa ruku'..tak boleh balance..

Masa Along dan Kak Zah sampai pun, saya yang terlentok di kerusi..nak muntah laa..begitu kuat kesannya pada saya..malam tu, saya tidur awal, selepas solat maghrib..bangun semula untuk solat isya' dan tidur di kerusi sementara menunggu solat subuh..dan saya tidur semula..

Bangun dari tidur, saya bagi tahu ayah..nak buka sekarang boleh tak? tak boleh tahan la..haa..bukak lahh..

Lega dah dapat tengok dunia dengan dua belah mata..letak ubat and rest..rasa macam dah ok..tapi masih ada lagi rasa sakit tu..esok kena jumpa Dr Zainal semula..harap2 tak lah kena buang selaput tu..takut sebenarnya.. :-p

Catatan Perjalanan Korea - Our journey back home

We are going back home..Took our breakfast..Abang skip breakfast..makan maggi je kat bilik..in actual fact, nothing much that we can eat here because banyak yang tak halal..can only take bread and butter..and hot tea..


After breakfast, took our luggage down to the lobby and load into the bus. While waiting for check out, we just discovered that we have to pay a fixed amount of tips for the tour guide and driver..we were quite upset with the tour guide from Malaysia because she did not tell us about the tips and how much that we have to pay..lucky we still have some Korean money left and sufficient for the family..Lim was not happy with the amount of money collected the day before..we were not to be blame because our tour guide did not tell us what Lim has informed her..this is lesson for her and for us too..

We went straight to the airport, and que to check in..After check in, we went straight away to claim the perfume that we bought at Donghwa Duty Free and then off to boarding gate..On the way to the gate, we bought some more souvenirs and t shirts. It was quite expensive at the airport but better choices.

Our flight back home will transit at Kota Kinabalu. We arrived at KLIA around 7pm. After settle with the luggage, we perform our prayer at KLIA then back to our home sweet home.


Reached home around 9pm and quickly rush for white rice and sambal tumis..hmmm

Catatan Perjalanan Korea - Seoul Shopping Tour

Lambatnya nak menghabiskan catatan perjalanan Korea ni..hakikatnya terlalu banyak kisah nak di catatkan, dan sebenarnya masa yang telalu cepat berlalu dan mungkin tidak digunakan dengan sebaiknya..

Today we are going for Seoul Shopping tour..ramai yang dah plan nak beli itu ini dan apa nama tempatnya..I,my self did not plan anything..percaya tak? bawa duit pun tak banyak mana. Ramai yang tak setuju nak pergi tempat2 yang telah dirancang, tapi according to Lim, the tour guide, these are a must place to go, yang telah ditetapkan oleh kerajaan Korea..to promote their local products..

These are the places that we visited secara paksa rela..hehe..

1. National Ginseng Outlet ..we bought 2 ginseng products..actually we enquire a lot on this item and to relate with what Ayah has been diagnosed

2. Amethyst Factory - I bought a pendant each for my daughter and a ring for me..

3. The Cosmetic shop - we watch a demo on how effective the cosmetic are to make our skin whiter..unfortunately nobody is interested to buy anything

Then we had our lunch at an Indian Restaurant, again Nasi beriani, and solat at Seoul International Mosque.

We were brought to Donghwa Duty Free Shop..anything that were bought here are to be claimed at the airport..We only bought perfume for Ayah and Abang. Then we went to Kwang Jung Market for Korean Silk shopping. .It is a very small shop actually..far from my expectation. I did not buy a single piece. Tapi yang lain-lainnya begitu excited dengan kain2 yang ada dan berebut2 membeli.

Then we went to Namdaemun Market, Myeong-dong Fashion Street & Insadong Cultural Street. Again, nothing that interest us. While waiting for the others, we took few shots of photos around the assembly place at Shinsegae. Our dinner were packed and distributed at the hotel room. Lim, the tour guide arranged for his friend to come to the hotel for some brooch shopping spree..thats better than what I saw at the market. Bought a few for myself. Then back to my room for packing and rest..
