Jambore Budaya Serumpun - they are back

13th June 2010


Finally, the girls are back..missed them so much ..for the past 7 days, just before went to bed, mesti masuk bilik the girls, get their smell in the room baru lah boleh tidur..


Their flight supposed to arrive at 5.45pm but as usual it was delayed to 6.30pm. We reached LCCT as early as 4.45pm..Ayah tu tak sabar nak jemput buah hati dua orang tu..


Kakak sms dah sampai airport Pekan Baru 12 noon. Jam 3 pagi sudah bertolak dari Tanah Datar..mesti tak tidur malam tu..Kakak pesan belikan McD..Ayah belikan Nugget and Fillet..


aahhh..lega bila Kakak and Adik muncul dari arrival hall..gelapnya muka..dari jauh dah tersengih2..in fact they were the first to come out..

Kakak & Adik insist nak bawa bag sendiri dan masukkan sendiri dalam kereta..satu perubahan positif..thumb up for both of you..berjaya melepasi cabaran camping for the first time..

Actually kami tak pernah mimpi nak ada benda ni di rumah..Kakak yang beriya2 sangat nak pandai guna benda ni and to have this at home..so we sign up class for Kakak and Adik..and bought this thing..tadaaaa

ehemm..not the wing chair..its the piano..boleh la main macam ayam patuk jagung sementara tunggu Kakak dan Adik pandai

This piano was delivered on 8th June masa Kakak and Adik di Padang..Mama lah rasmikan dulu..boleh la main lagu Happy Birthday untuk Abang.. ;-)

We did not celebrate makan2 coz Kakak & Adik masih di Padang, Sumatera. Birthday present sebenarnya dah bagi in advance ie handphone baru..


Ayah belikan juga extra birtday present untuk Abang..Ayah harap sangat Abang manfaatkan hadiah yang Ayah bagi ni..Al Quranul Karim. The Miracle 15 in 1..Photo taken masa kami nak pergi kenduri kawin then lepas tu terus hantar Abang ke kelas Cambridge (that explain the bag he is carrying)

Jambori Kebudayaan - their first day

8th June 2010

I couldn't sleep last night thinking of the two girls out there..Our last communication was sms from Kakak telling that they stop by for dinner and wait until solat maghrib. Another 5 hours to go. I expect them to at least sms me when they arrived at Padang..rasa macam nak menangis..Until morning when I woke up, no sms from the girls. Yuli inform Adik ada sms around 11 pm bagi tahu lagi 2 jam..hmm ok la

Adik sms at 8.40 am to tell me that her eyes is swollen. Adik memang allergy to dust..have to call her to guide which medicine to take. 12.45pm Adik sms again to inform that her head just got hit by a lorry's side mirror..hah??

Kakak sms at 1.46 pm to tell me about her thing..hmm..advise her what to do..they are not used to the situation..this is what we call survival dear..they need me to guide them what to do..

Then only I found out that they reached Padang at 1 am, got to sleep at 2am and woke up at 4am. They overnite at a mosque actually. Not even have a chance to take a bath..mandi burung je..and didn't change their clothes..he he..told her that I didn't had the chance to take my bath during Haj at Mina for 3 days and didn't change my clothes also. But the situation is not the same..hmmm..just say few words to comfort them..another 5 days to go..Worried they ran out of phone battery coz seems no chance to charge their phone. Got to top up their credit on their first day
5.46 pm..kakak complain that why she feels that time moved very slow..I told her that she got to enjoy than only she feels time flies very fast..I know that they are very tired for not getting sufficient rest and still not used to the environment..Advised them to take medicine before going to sleep..and they know what to do coz we used to travel a lot. Our Europe vacation teach them a lot..in fact we have prepared them with supplements a week before this trip. Hope it helps..
Updates by them at 9pm, they still did not get the chance to wash their body..toilet always full..guide them from my own experience and how to adjust themselves with the situation..I enjoyed going for camping during my school time and uni life..they are just city girls and grew up in cyber life..hope they gain experience from this jambori and able to store an unforgetable memories and experience.

Update my husband their activities of the day..his simple comment was this is what we call survival..Men are just so simple..nothing to worry..please pray for the ye..

We pray the best for our girls and their friends..most of all, can adapt and adjust themselves with the environment. Hope for a better day esok dan hari seterusnya..

Missed the hug and kisses we used to do every night and girls lepak time before going to bed.. :-(

Jambori Kebudayaan - Departure day

7th June 2010

We reached LCCT around 12.40 noon..prepare ourselves for solat zohor and jamak taqdim for Kakak & Adik. They have to assemble at 1.50pm..Meanwhile Abang bought McD for 2nd round lunch. They had their early lunch at home actually.

After a long wait, que and transfer from one counter to another, they finally left for boarding. Flight was scheduled at 3.50pm but was delayed..common thing with Air Asia..

I pray the best for my two girls and the whole group..Hope everything will goes well.

Kakak sent sms at 6.03 pm. They already arrived and stop by for dinner. And will move again after maghrib prayer. Another 5 hours of journey before reach Tanah Datar..

Dah siap nak bertolak..baca doa keluar rumah..Kiki as usual..menyibuk jugak..

Abang tak sudah2 menyakat sepanjang jalan sampai Adik naik fed up..maklum le nanti seminggu tak dapat sakat adik2

Dah lama kami plan untuk ke Kuantan masa cuti Wesak..cadang nak tidur di Cherating satu malam..Memandangkan 29 May Kakak & Adik ada taklimat Jambori, plan tidur di Cherating terpaksa kami cancel dan kami ke Kuantan day trip..

Kami bertolak jam 7 pagi dari rumah, dan tiba di Petronas Paya Serai jam 8 pagi..we had our breakfast there..then kami teruskan perjalanan ke Kuantan..tiba rumah Kak Mun jam 10.30 pagi..Oleh kerana Kak Mun tak jawab call, kami lepak dulu di masjid Cenderawasih..Jam 11 kami ke rumah Kak Mun semula..

Kami selesai urusan ukur2 dan alter baju , jam 2.30 kami ke bandar untuk lunch..Selesai lunch, beli keropok lekor terus balik ke Shah Alam..sampai rumah jam 8.30 malam

Jambori Kebudayaan - Kamera baru

Barang2 dah siap packing ..ada lagi few small items yang perlu dibeli..Kami ke Subang Parade..lepas discuss dengan Ayah, we decided to buy a camera yang guna bateri AA untuk kegunaan Kakak dan Adik disana memandangkan tapak perkhemahan tiada kemudahan untuk caj bateri kamera. Kena lah bawa bateri AA banyak2..Rugi rasanya kalau tak dapat ambil gambar kenang-kenangan..

Jambori Kebudayaan - Taklimat

Kakak & Adik akan menyertai Jambori Kebudayaan bermula 7 Jun hingga 13 Jun 2010 di Padang, Sumatera.

Taklimat telah di adakan pada 29 Mei 2010 di SMK Kundang. Semua peserta Pandu Putri diberi taklimat aturcara, latihan nyanyian lagu patriotik, panji-panji dan senarai barang2 keperluan. Di fahamkan 52 orang peserta pandu putri akan mewakili Malaysia dan 1000 orang pengakap. Hanya 3 orang pelajar SMK S7 yang menyertai program ini.

Kami ada masa seminggu untuk memastikan barang2 keperluan disediakan secukupnya. Barang yang paling mencabar yang perlu kami cari adalah bendera Malaysia yang perlu dijahit di lengan baju. Semua kedai uniform di Shah Alam tak jual bendera..kami juga ke Subang Jaya..dan akhirnya jumpa di Jusco Bukit Tinggi

I would never expect that someone will post me a brownies..I received this parcel from my dear junior sister during my college time..Never met her after I left college in 1983 but we met again recently via facebook. She sent me this brownies after we were talking about it when she posted her home made brownies in facebook. Thank you to my dear sis Ida..it taste very yummy..

Masa kami balik kampung baru2 ni, cousin Ayah jemput kami kerumah baru mereka sambil2 tinjau surau baru di Kg Linau Besar..

Tapak surau ini telah diwakafkan oleh Allayarham abang ipar mak (mak Ayah). Kami panggil Wak Suratni iaitu suami kepada Wak Ah (Kakak Mak). Pembinaan surau ini akhirnya jadi kenyataan dengan sumbangan kewangan yang sebahagian besarnya datang dari keluarga sebelah mak..Alhamdulillah..Gambar ini saya ambil dari laman rumah cousin Ayah..alangkah seronoknya rumah sangat hampir dengan surau..

Birthday Celebration - Kakak

Untuk birthday Kakak, kami plan untuk lunch di restoren Saba' Cyberjaya. Never been there, thats why Ayah nak try..Kami sampai jam 12.30, restoren masih belum buka (buka pukul 1). Overall, environment tak best, makanan so so...saya tahu Kakak tak happy celebrate birthday kat sini..Kakak cuma sempat buka kad dari kami..lepas tu, Kakak refuse nak buka kad/hadiah lagi sebab tempat tak best..

Dari Cyberjaya kami ke Putrajaya untuk solat di Masjid Putrajaya tapi Ayah dah tersalah jalan, so kami solat di Surau Presint 8..

Mak dan abah memang suka bela ayam..masa balik kampung baru ni, Eda tunjukkan ayam jantan mak ni..nama dia Jalak..Jalak memang besar..setinggi lutut saya..Eda cakap Jalak pantang orang tunjuk terer depan dia..kawan2 Azri yang datang main bola, abis dikejarnya..Angah pun kena masa nak sidai baju..Eda kena patuk masa bersihkan sangkar Mican..lepas tu saya lupa cerita pasal Jalak ni..

Bila tengok Mican meow meow mintak keluar dari sangkar, saya tanya dengan Eda, Mican ni lepas ke..Eda cakap lepas..tak pe la, biar saya lepaskan dia..waahh..saya dengan confident nya pergilah lepas kan Mican..saya pun dokong Mican, timang2 Mican..tiba2 Eda jerit dan rasa ada something dah langgar kaki saya..rupa2 nya Jalak marah saya ambik Mican..boleh dia sondol kaki ..uhh..saya pun jerit sekuat2 hati..kalau boleh nampak anak tekak agaknya..Eda jerit dari dapur..agaknya Jalak marah aciek ambik Mican...Mican pun terlepas dan jatuh berdebuk..sian Mican..sori ek..ni hah Jalak ni nak tunjuk jantan tak pasal2..

Kami semua cadangkan mak sembelih aje Jalak ni sebab dia dah berlagak macam security guard kat rumah mak..boleh dia tunggu kat pintu..sampai budak2 pun takut nak main kat luar..ha ha..
mak tak setuju..mak kata Jalak dah tua, daging dah liat..Angah cakap, kalau liat kita buat rendang la..kah kah..sampai hati ke kami nak makan??

Boboi - kucing rumah Abang Mail (Abang Ayah)..Took him from rumah Kak Leha(biras) dan bawa balik rumah mak (mak mertua)..Boboi memang manja..First time jumpa kucing yang makan roti canai dan roti gardenia..he he

Mican pulak kucing milik Hakim..(anak Eda)..actually ada dua ekor, tapi hilang..Baru tahu la Mican tu actually nama makwe Doraemon..hi hi..Mican ada macam rupa Kiki..tapi Mican comot!!

Tu la..masa kami bela kucing, semua dok pakat kutuk ye..now memasing dah ada kucing.. :-p

Balik kampung @ Jalan-jalan cari makan

Setelah sekian lama, this is our first time nak balik kampung. Last time balik Batu Pahat was during Raya Puasa. Last balik Melaka was during Raya Haji. Raya Haji kami tak balik Batu Pahat sebab semua keluarga Ayah berkumpul di rumah Kak Nor (kakak Ayah) di Muar sebab ada kenduri sambut menantu.

Ayah decide last minute untuk balik kampung. Actually 24hb tu sekolah hari Sabtu untuk ganti cuti Raya Puasa tapi kami 'pontengkan' anak2 sebab kami dah decide nak balik kampung. Done with the packing lepas maghrib, then kami bertolak lepas solat isya'.

Kami singgah di Restoren jejantas Ayer Keroh for our late dinner at A&W and reach Batu Pahat around 12.30am.

On our way back to Melaka, kami singgah di Tg Agas Muar. Actually ayah nak makan mee bandung tapi kami tak jumpa kedainya. Finally stop by at one restaurant untuk makan murtabak Singapore. Kami beli juga tapau untuk bawa balik Melaka.

Kami bertolak balik jam 11 pagi dan singgah di Bandar Baru Bangi untuk lunch di restoren Asam Pedas favourite Ayah..
